Mr. Urey is an strategic advisor with Drogaman Global, an international advisory with expertise in policy, commerce and politics. As part of a firm having advised clients in corporate strategy, market entry, country risk analysis, and stake holder engagement, he is geographically focused on the Middle East, and Africa. His multiple cross sector experience includes, Finance, Economics, diplomacy, sustainable sustainable infrastructure, with a focus on energy.
Mr. Urey is the managing partner, and founder of Phoenix AmeriCapital. Mr. Urey has had extensive experience in international finance, investment banking, energy and infrastructure. His experience extends from sales and trading, marketing, operations and risk management. Mr. Urey has spearheaded several successful fundraising and marketing initiatives. He was a pioneer at MBNA America Marketing systems where he was part of the team that helped the firm become the top financial marketing firm in America. He has consulted for a number of investment banks, most recently consulting with UBS on credit derivatives in a major effort to reduce risk and mitigate losses due to subprime lending on Wall Street. Mr. Urey began his career on Wall Street with Oppenheimer & Co., as an asset manager in NYC. He has successfully spearheaded market entry platforms for publicly traded investment banks and lending institutions. He has been intricately involved in government and public policy consulting internationally. Mr. Urey was awarded his international MBA at the American Intercontinental University-London, and achieved his Series 7, 63, and 65. His most recent achievement is the advisory of the Merger and acquisition transaction of the Putu Mountain, Iron Ore concession. He is currently in pursuit of an advisory or Consulting opportunity in investment, business development, policy with a world class organization and in the process of undertaking his PHD at Oxford in Business and Finance, as he expands the portfolio of assets held by the Phoenix AmeriCapital Group. He is a guest panelist, and motivational speaker, who speaks on matters of conservation, finance, Investments, energy and sustainability.
